Hey, it’s been a minute since I wrote here. I hope you’re all doing well. “Teenage Days” has been out for over 2 weeks, and the video just cracked 3600 views. This was my first single in 4 months, and I was worried you forgot about me 😂. I’m happy you didn’t. This also was the first song I experienced a lot of hate on. People hide behind a computer and waste time on negativity or hating. I’ve said it before: my music’s not for everyone, and I’m not trying to reinvent music. I’m just a dad, husband writing music from my heart. There were a few haters where it turned into harassment, which was the first time in my life I had that happen to me. They went as far as messaging people and on other platforms. It went on for days. My music and its only us family don’t put up or agree with hate or anything like that. It makes me think how many people out there are in a bad place, taking hate out on things they don’t like. That’s not a good world for kids to grow up in, but I guess it’s where we’re at. This also means that we’re really making a dent in the online world. Thank you for taking time to share my music, read my post, express what these songs mean to you, and for being a part of this journey as independent artist. It only works with all of us. Hey everyone!
my song "Teenage Days" came out yesterday. It’s my first song of 2024. I'll be totally straight up - I was a bit nervous for this one, wondering if anyone would care or even give it a listen. Or if you forgot about me. I haven’t had music out in four months after releasing a single with a music video every month for twelve months. It seems crazy to look back and see how fast-paced things went, but also how good it felt to just keep moving forward. It was my first time diving into the whole push music online thing, and believe me, it's a grind. I've learned a lot and have built a strong family around me. I feel like it took my songwriting to a whole new level. I feel like we're just getting started and really building a connection with you. We're on our way to 1000 views on the "Teenage Days" music video. Keep sharing and streaming the song. And if you're one of the people who made it this far, I appreciate you. Let’s keep hustling music as we rise up!

Haters 😂
I've been getting messages from other artists and people asking how i deal with haters of my music. Here's my answer: I come from a time where making it in music meant signing a record deal and toughening up against critiques. In today's online music career, people can be harsh hiding behind a computer. If my music bothers you that much, I worry for you; there must be a reason behind your negative comments. Your voice is so whiny, you can't play guitar, your songs suck, you seem very fake – I just brush it off because you really didn't hear what I'm doing, and that's okay. I'm not the best singer, guitarist, or writer, but I'm self-taught, drawing from real life. Recent interviews and reviews have recognized the heart, honesty, and real emotion in my music—something missing these days. My music isn't for everyone, and that's fine. I'm not trying to reinvent music; I'm just speaking for those who get it. In a world flooded with music, the haters make me feel we're making a dent in this online realm. If you create anything from your heart and haters start coming out, it just means you're in the right direction. Keep pushing, be real, and you'll touch the right people. Thanks for being part of this journey as we rise up.

Embracing the New Year with Exciting News!
Hey, it’s been a while since I wrote here. I hope you all had an awesome Christmas with family and are doing well. I know it seems as if I may be hiding out because there’s been no new music in the last three months, but I’ve been busy doing interviews with music podcasts and websites. I’ve also received a lot of awesome reviews and have been writing new music.

But that’s not all – the music video for “A Lot of Luck” reaching an amazing 4,000 views. It’s been awesome to see the positive response. And guess what? We’ve hit a community milestone with 650 subscribers! Your support is the driving force behind this journey, and I can’t thank you enough.
In another thrilling development, Buzz Slayers’ blog featured me, offering a detailed review and interview. It’s an honor to be recognized in this way, and I appreciate the opportunity to connect with more music enthusiasts.
On the creative side of things, I started recording a brand-new song. The details are hush-hush for now, but I promise it will be on way.

One Year of Musical Magic: From “Upside Down” to New Horizons
It’s amazing how time flies when you’re doing what you love. Today marks the one-year anniversary of my first single, “Upside Down.” As I look back on this journey, my heart is filled with gratitude, and I’m bursting with excitement for what lies ahead.
When I released “Upside Down” a year ago, I took a chance on this musical adventure. I didn’t know if people would connect with my music or if I could keep up with the goal of releasing a new song every month. It was a thrilling but uncertain journey, and now, as I reflect, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for your support and love.
Some of you may know that this marked my return to music after an eight-year break. I owe a lot to my wonderful wife, who never gave up on me and played a crucial role in bringing me back to my passion. Her unwavering belief in me has been my driving force.
This past year has been full of firsts. It was my first time sharing my music online, and let me tell you, it’s been a whirlwind of hard work. But every sleepless night, moment of doubt, and drop of sweat has been worth it because of all of you. I can’t express enough how thankful I am for inviting my music into your lives. The connections I’ve made with all of you have been truly incredible.
One of the most beautiful parts of this journey has been having my daughter and wife by my side. They’ve not only appeared in my music videos but have also been my unwavering support, constantly pushing me forward.
As we bid farewell to this year of releases, I’m excited to share my plans for the future. I’ll be releasing new music every two months, allowing me to put more heart and soul into each song and strengthen the bond with all of you. My hope is for my daughter to witness the hard work it takes to chase dreams, showing her that relentless effort can make anything possible.
Together, we’ve achieved milestones that once felt distant. We’ve reached an incredible 200,000 views on my YouTube channel, and the “Take Me Back” music video has touched 50,000 hearts. We’ve even had radio play in Australia and the UK and garnered thousands of monthly listeners on streaming services. As I sit down to write this blog post, I can hardly believe that the end of this month marks the release of my 12th single in 12 months. This journey has been an incredible one, filled with both triumphs and challenges. When I set this ambitious goal, it wasn't just about writing songs; it was also about taking on the majority of the work myself. Let's take a closer look at the highs and lows of this whirlwind year.
The Hurdles of the Online Music World:
Keeping up with the fast pace of the online music world was no easy task. It meant an insane amount of work, from the creative process of writing and recording with the talented Rick to having musicians like Joel and Phil contribute their magic. Beyond that, there was the world of marketing, management, promotion, and the joy of connecting with all of you. And, of course, let's not forget the cinematic adventure of shooting music videos with Teus. There were days when I questioned if these songs would ever see the light of day, but I pushed through.
Exceeding Expectations:
Despite the challenges, I'm proud to say that I surpassed even my loftiest goals for this year. When I embarked on this journey, I wasn't sure how my music would be received, or if anyone would care. Music has been my lifelong passion, and I can confidently say that I'm here to stay. Your unwavering support, from liking and commenting to joining the "It's Only Us" family, sharing my music videos, and adding songs to playlists, has shown me that there's still a hunger for authentic music. And that, my friends, makes all the hard work worthwhile.
A Year of Achievements:
As we approach the end of this year of musical success, I can't help but celebrate the milestones we've achieved together.
